The City of Adams and the Village of Friendship are located in Adams County, Wisconsin. Friendship is immediately north of Adams along State Highway 13 and the two adjacent comunities share a school system (home of the Green Devils). Friendship Park is at the north end of the village, at the southwest corner of Friendship Lake. Moundview Hospital and Clinic is located in Friendship near the park.
This area east of the Wisconsin River is known for its 23 named rock formations in the county like Ship Rock, Roche-a-Cri, Quincy Bluff, Rabbit Rock, and Friendship Mound. Adams County owes much of its breathtakingly spectacular scenery to the geological history of the area that spared all but the eastern edge of the county from the worse ravages of the crushing ice mass during the glacial age about 12,000 years ago. There are many recreational opportunities among the beautiful spires, pinnacles, and castles including trails for atv, snowmobile, hiking, and horseback riding.
